Site Visits
The site visits were amazing. Our guide for the day was Miguel from Lomas Travel. We had a huge bus taking us around.

El Dorado Seaside Suites
This hotel is beautiful and intimate (280 Jr. Suites in 2 & 3 story buildings). All Jr. Suites have a jacuzzi. All suites are non-smoking. Perfect for those who want to get away from it all. The rooms are almost identical to the El Dorado Maroma, but a lighter color wood. The beach beds are very nice. The water is so blue and clear. I liked the flair of the Mexican restaurant and the outdoor swing bar.

Hidden Beach Resort Au Natural Club
This is a 42 Suite boutique hotel that is clothing optional. I can't imagine why anyone would want this option, especially the nude breakfast, lunch & dinner options. That's one way to assure that I don't over-indulge! They have access to the restaurants at the El Dorado Seaside Suites next door, but they must be attired. One nice feature of this resort is that it can be taken over for groups (but I would hope that they would disinfect first).

After witnessing Hedonism, I had no idea to check out the beach, but Jenna did!

Azul Fives
Can I just say that I can't believe that we didn't have to wear hard hats. You should have seen what we had to walk through. That would never fly in the U.S.

This hotel is going to be EP or AI and it is just beautiful. It is very chic and they took a lot of pride in picking out the furnishings. It is very upscale and when they extend 5th Avenue, it will be right on it. The suites are oversized and luxurious like an apartment with a kitchen, dining area, and powder room. The Penthouse Suite is the coolest feature because a group of friends can stay there and then you have access to the private rooftop where you can enjoy the views or have a BBQ. A private chef is also available for in room dining. Azul Fives is great for groups or your upscale clientele who want be be close to Playa Del Carmen.

El Dorado Maroma
Another nice, intimate resort (only 72 suites) for those 16 years and older. All suites face the beach. (My favorite section was the Mi Hotelito section, which is less contemporary and has a Mexican flair.) Maroma Beach was rated the "world's best beach" by the Travel Channel. It is very beautiful and the sand is so soft and white. It's located near the marina with activities close by. Beach Butlers are available to provide suntan lotion, reading materials, cool towels, and gourmet bites throughout the day. There are 3 restaurants.

Lunch was very delicious and we ate too much again.

Azul Beach
Guess who I ran into?....Noè Landau, former Rooms Division Manager from Azul Blue. Now he is the RDM at Azul Beach. What a pleasant surprise! I thought he went to Mi Hotelito, which is now The El Dorado Maroma.

I was very impressed by this hotel. It reminded me a lot of Azul Blue. It is a small boutique style and everyone knows you. It is also great for kids. The pools are very basic, but Bahia Petempich beach is very nice. At Azul Beach, they also offer Beach Butler service (and Mario, the Beach Butler was mighty fine). I thought the rooms were small and the bathroom did not have enough room to get ready, but the other features outweigh this one negative. There are only 98 rooms.

They offer childrens menus and gourmet Gerber baby food. They even have strollers, play pens, and other baby necessities, so you don't have to worry about bringing them.

They offer the South Beach diet menu and a whole lobster menu. Some culinary activities that are unique to this resort are the picnics, fish market, paella party and beach BBQ.

The Agavero Tequila Lounge offers many tequilas served on a frozen bar top, which is a very cool feature.

La Mancha Energy Bar offers fruit juices, smoothies, cappuccinos, cookies, ice cream and sandwiches. This is a fun place for kids to order on their own.

The size of this resort makes it very easy for everyone to get to know each other and it makes it easy to keep track of the kids. There's even a pool for the kids.

Azul View
Not open yet, so we watched a video. This one has a great program for teens. It looks very nice.

Azul View will be the first multi-generational hotel with an abundance of room categories (and guaranteed connecting rooms). There will be 438 luxury suites.

There will be a kids club with a splash park, a great teen club (which is a big advantage and is unique to this hotel) and adults only restaurant, a Mojito bar, and Family and friends vacation planner services.

Wireless
Could not log in because they gave me a wrong user ID. It is just not worth it, so no photos till I get home. I know that is boring.

Claudia
I discovered that Claudia from Azul Blue was working in Reception at The El Dorado Royale. She is the one who is very beautiful.

Dinner
Everyone was going to the Oriental, but I was really nervous that I would have an allergic reaction, so I opted not to go.

La Isla
The Italian restaurant had an hour and a half wait, so I went to the Mediterranean, La Isla. It was delcioso! I had the flank steak that was the most tender piece of meat I ever had. I also had the Creme Brulee' for dessert and it was just like the one I had at Azul Blue. Yum-o!

The waiter kept calling me "Princess." He must be confusing me with the little girl who was at Azul Blue! Remember her, Gina?

Jacuzzi
Guess where I am going now?
